We do love auctions and attend quite a few.  Some weeks we may go to as many as 4 a week.

These southeast Texas auctions often have some real treasures.  Unlike auctions in large cities, you usally have smaller crowds and much lower prices.  The quality of the merchandise can be very high.  Furniture in particular often goes at remarkable prices.  You may also discover excellent buys of china, porcelain, clocks, glass, and country collectibles. 

If you haven't visited a southeast Texas auction house, you should make a point to include one in your plans soon.  Not only are you likely to find a treasure that you just can't live without, you will have a lot of fun.
